The Concerned Family

Our Mission

“To Assess The Needs Of Homeless Individuals And Families. To Empower Them To Be Able To Live An Independent And Self-Sufficient Life.”
A Dedicated Family
The Concerned Family, a vital community-based outreach program, is dedicated to providing hot meals to homeless and low-income families of the Inland Empire in Southern California. Through the unwavering support of the community, the organization can nourish those in need. In the wake of the COVID pandemic, the demand for services to homeless communities has surged. The leadership firmly believes that the organization is strategically poised to extend its reach, serving more people, irrespective of their race and belief systems. Guided by the Maslow Hierarchy of Needs, The Concerned Family takes a frontline position in bringing hope to the marginalized with their most basic needs.

This, along with the vision and selfless dedication of the President and Founder, Lincoln Cooper, has brought the core team together as a family. Every member of staff is personally committed to helping each individual, single individual, single mother, or family, find solutions to the most current situation in their life journey. We then walk with them into a hopeful future.
Commitment

TCF is reaching the homeless issue through active efforts to directly and sensitively deal with the predicaments of the homeless directly and with sensitivity. Rehabilitation and self-sufficiency are the two most common programs our clients are enrolled in. These programs are intended to help participants identify needs and set goals. They will also be able to solve the more immediate needs of food, clothing and temporary shelter. Our ultimate goal is to prepare participants to obtain and maintain more self-reliance. TCF is not only devoted to charitable work. We are dedicated to the long term activities which bring success and total rehabilitation to individuals and families whenever possible.

Lincoln Cooper

President and Founder

Since 1993, TCF has been responding to the urgent needs of the homeless and transitional families in the Riverside area without regard for their race, color, religion or national origin. Its President and Founder, Lincoln Cooper, began with personal efforts to organize aid and rehabilitate resources for those in unfortunate circumstances in 1989. Although temporary relief was sometimes available, Mr. Cooper realized that a program that would combine the varied needs of individuals was not available.
